The G.A.I.A site is an interesting project. It is the online presence for the Goddess Association in Australia which is an active group promoting women's spirituality within Australia.

Website Design Notes
G.A.I.A is a non-profit group run by a committee, the members of which change over time. A content management system with a simple interface was an important requirement. The committee also wanted a variety of access levels and some committee only and member only forums. I decided to use the open source Joomla platform to reduce costs. The result has been very satisfactory.

SEO Notes
The search engine optimisation for the site has been very successful. Google ranks the site in 3rd place for the keyword 'goddess' both within Australia and worldwide. It is no1 for the phrase 'goddess australia'
